I'm watching Regarding Henry right now. So I guess the only way to get a man to act nice and fun and not cheat and lie is to shoot him in the head. Good to know ;)

My parents and I went to Carbondale, IL today for absolutely no reason. I don't like the SIU campus at all, and we couldn't find the Hillel House, so it was a tiny bit of a letdown. But we still had a great time eating hot dogs and going to this apple/peach orchard and buying things and driving around. Yay three day weekends! I can't wait for fall break though, we're going to Indianapolis and I'll get to see a friend of mine who I haven't seen in a very, veryyy long time. Umm, I just ate two apples from that orchard place because I love apples. My left ear has been itching nonstop for two or three weeks now, and it's starting to piss me off because when I went to my ear/nose/throat doctor a few days ago he said my ears were fine and not gunky and I aced a hearing test. Soo nothing's wrong with my ears, just they both feel weird or itchy all the time and I hear a ringing in my right one sometimes. Blah blah blah ears are stupid the end.

PS - this is about as much sense as I make online, so don't expect anything better from me :p

Okay anyway, yesterday I got a whole lot of new shit. This nail salon place had a sale so I got my nails done. They're for practical reasons, though, because my hands are short and stubby and the nails make them look a little less short and stubby. Then my parents and I went to Ruby Tuesday's and, OMG, I got this chicken thing with parmeasan cheese sauce and mushrooms and bacon and these amazing potatos and I almost DIED from amazingness. Heh, I burped up the chicken a couple hours later and even the burp was delicious XD anyway then we went home and rested and my cell phone faceplate came in the mail so Mom and I put it on. We needed two people because my phone's faceplates go on really weird and it has to be done a certain way. I hurt one of my fingers by pulling on it with my nail =\ but these things aren't going anywhere lol. Then my mom and I went to CATO and I got a really cute, uhh, I guess burnt sienna-ish shirt and a green and white flowery pattern shirt and a scarf and I think another shirt and a watch that has chains and stuff on it so it looks more like a bracelet. I just decided that I'm sick of looking like a stoned hippie who just rolled out of her treehouse and came to class. I thought, you know what? Even though I'm fat, I do have a vagina and I am kind of pretty, so fuck this. I'm going to look nice this semester. You guys don't know me IRL, but I'm usually not very girly at all. I'll just wear jeans and whatever shirt is clean and flip flops, and I won't do anything with my hair or put on makeup or anything. And most of my girl friends are the same way if not worse. So I'm not really sure where this is coming from, but I'm running with it because why not?

I didn't end up going to sleep until 5:30 or 6am. Good thing this is a three day weekend, otherwise I'd be screwed up for the whole week lol. I updated my LJ about this really fun time I had on Friday, but I can't just C/P here because it's pretty much incomprehensible. So I will give you the shortened version.
On Friday this guy in my Life of Christ class was acting completely insane, being loud and interrupting people and not letting anyone talk over him. We could've had a very interesting discussion if not for him, so after class we stayed and asked him wtf was going on. He went around in loud, crazy circles and then said he "had a class" and left. I put it in quotes because it was noon and earlier in the week he came to class at noon thinking that's when it started, so obviously he didn't have somewhere else to be then. Anywayyy, one by one everybody left until it was just me and this guy, so we just kept talking about our beliefs and going back and forth on some issues and stuff. I thought it was just five minutes or so, but it turned out to be about 40, heh. Oops. It made me super duper happy because I usually can't talk to anyone about religious anything except my dad. Some of my opinions are, well, kind of not very common and difficult to talk to a lot of people about. So yes.
I'm watching this made-for-TV movie called Before and After. Why do some kids have such a bad fucking attitude? I was always so nice, and these assholes sitting there making these "STFU YOU'RE STUPID I'M GOING TO SPIT IN YOUR FACE IN THREE SECONDS" faces and I just want to punch that look right off of their smug little assholey faces. I wonder what makes people get like that. I mean it's one thing to have a fight with your friends and family or to say things you don't mean sometimes, but to always be so fucking mad and pissy and evil all the time? Whyyyyy.
